Mission Statement

 

The Mission of the MCCR Activity Center is to provide a system of care and support that lifts life possibilities for all persons.  MCCR is committed to providing services and support to and collaborating with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness, and /or substance use disorder.  

 

This system is consumer-driven while ensuring the promotion and protection of each right.  The provision and availability of services and supports are provided through positive approaches that are dignified, and respectful and demonstrate the achievement of outcomes unique to each person.  It is evidence-based, recovery-focused, and outcome-oriented.

A recent satisfaction survey indicated program participants liked coming to the Center because being with friends is fun and there is an opportunity for joining with others in the community for social activities.
